CTLLS – Certificate in Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector
The CTLLS qualification is for people progressing through the Lifelong Learning Sector – Although you don’t have to have any previous formal teaching experience you do need to be able to evidence delivery of 30 hours of teaching during the course. The qualification is also ideal for people who already work in the industry but want to obtain an official qualification.
Certificate in Teaching in the Life Long Learning Sector is the second step for all those wishing to deliver training in the lifelong learning sector. The CTLLS tutor training course and qualification leads to Associate Teacher Learning and Skills status (ATLS), Licensed Practitioner Status and allows for Professional Formation for tutors in the “associate teaching role”.
The Certificate in Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector or CTLLS award builds on the PTLLS award and covers Planning and Enabling Learning, Principles and Practice of Assessment and Equality and Diversity
CTLLS also provides a good foundation for progression to the Diploma course or DTLLS
